Everything you need to know about threadlift

It is a treatment for face and neck flaccidity (non-surgical lift) and butt lift.
It is an ambulatory technique, simple, fast and safe that is performed with local anaesthesia in the doctor’s office, minimally invasive that involves placing at hipodermic level polipropilen thread with convergent dents to produce cell stimulus and a later fibrosis that in turn will produce the retraction and lifting of the fallen or flaccid areas.

Procedure: First the area to be corrected is mark with the design the threads will have. We apply anaesthesia to the points of entrance and the guide with the thread is introduced in it. Then the guide is removed and the thread is left in its definite place.

Why does the thread lift face skin?
The combination of 3 factors guarantee the lifting effect

  1. The lifting thread has a double line of holders (little anchors or dents) that run in the opposite sense towards the centre of the thread. When this mesh of threads is implanted in the superficial fat, never in the muscle, the little anchors or dents hold firmly to the fatty tissue tightening and seizing it. These dents make the whole difference in relation to the usual polipropilen thread usued for surgical suture which is totally even.
  2. As the trajectory and traction of these thread dents run in a up-back sense to the face (up and to the sides) facial tissues are tightened in the same direction. That is the reason why the face is tightened and fights gravity.
  3. The lifting action of flaccid tissues is reinforced by the normal reaction of the organism to try to expel strange bodies that may be introduced in it. As well as producing a protective shield around the lifting thread that anchors it more firmly to the fatty tissue, it also when trying to expel the thread it rises the treated area even more. In that way the thread becomes a permanent supportive ligament of the tissues, thin and hidden. As time passes the aesthetic result of the lifting is enhanced.

Who can benefit from this thread lift?
Although there is no minimal age, this correcting procedure for facial flaccidity with threads is indicated for: people between 30 and 35 and more, to refresh a previous surgical lifting and/or patients who do not dare to undergo a traditional face lift.

How many threads are necessary and how long does the procedure take?

The duration of the procedure depends on the number of threads to be implanted.
The great advantage of threadlift is that it can be applied to specific areas where aging is more notorious and it can be made in stages. So in this scheme, each area of treatment requires the following number of threads.
